The First Caspian Economic Forum was help in Turkmenbashi on August 11 and 12, the goal of which was to develop capacity in the field of trade and investment policy and simplify cooperation procedures among the countries of the Caspian region.
Alongside with meetings of the Ministers of Competent Authorities, on August 11, 2019 a series of events was held for representatives of the business community. During one of the events, the Framework Agreement was signed between the State Concern Turkmenchemistry, JSC GIAP and ALVIGO AS. The Parties expressed interest in further fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation on the Project for repair and restoration works and upgrading of Maryazot Production Association and agreed to develop a roadmap for the main project stages. This Project is being developed by the Russian Party with the support of the Russian Trade Representation in Turkmenistan.
The aim of the Project is to restore the design capacity of Maryazot Production Association. Project start is scheduled for 2020. As part of the first stage of the project, a group of engineering and technical specialists of JSC GIAP will conduct a comprehensible technological survey of production units of Maryazot Production Association, after which a technical and commercial proposal will be provided.
The State Concern Turkmenchemistry is a state-owned company, a unified industrial and economic complex that carries out development and formation of the most important areas for the development of Turkmenistan chemical industry.
JSC GIAP is a Group of Engineering Companies specializing in design of nitrogen production units. The Group consists of six companies; the total number of employees is more than 500 people.
