GIAP’s technologies for large-scale ammonia and methanol plants sized up to 3500 tpd
Dependency of the chemical industry on technologies is a today’s most acute problem. Amid sanctions, foreign licensors are facing significant challenges in implementation of projects in Russia. To be able to continue implementation of investment projects, a client has to address outstanding issues, such as access to modern technologies, key equipment, and engineering solutions.
If the solutions for large-scale ammonia and methanol plants sized for more than 2500 tpd could be offered before by foreign licensors only, then today, thanks to domestic developments, GIAP offers not only technologies that match the foreign ones in terms of specifications, but packaged supply of critical equipment as much localized in Russia as possible.
GIAP’s solutions for greenfield ammonia projects include the conventional steam reforming based technology SMR AM and GIAP’s TANDEM AM 3500 tpd technology, as well as GIAP’s “Tandem AM B” “blue” ammonia technology utilizing GIAP’s proprietary CO2 capture, liquefaction and storage or utilization solutions.
For new methanol plants, GIAP offers GIAP’s SMR ME and GIAP's TANDEM MЕ technologies also sized for 3500 tpd.
