Professional Dynasty
Vladimir Lisyanskiy, founder of a largest labor dynasty in GIAP, celebrated his personal jubilee in May. His family’s aggregate record of employment counts more than 130 years demonstrating an unbelievable continuity of generations.
Vladimir Ivanovich Lisyanskiy and his spouse Lyudmila Nikolayevna started their careers in 1985 at the Severodonetsk GOSNII MetanolProekt (former Severodonetsk Branch of GIAP) as junior engineers in charge of adipic acid plants.
They plunged into their work from the very beginning. Starting from the development of diagrams and installation drawings, Vladimir Invanovich took on with time the acetylene, ammonia, methanol and acetic acid projects, and Lyudmila Nikolayevna went ahead with the development of customized equipment and piping designs for the said plants.
The geography of projects was overwhelming: the Institute worked with the largest companies of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Estonia and P.R. of China.
The Lisyanskiy family grew together with increasing plant capacities. There were two sons born in the family – Igor and Egor, who eventually went in for their parents’ business and joined the Institute as process engineers. Egor’s wife, Alyona, turned out to be the next in line to join the team as a Cat. 1 engineer.
Today, the entire Lisyanskiy dynasty works for NIAP and do their utmost as a contribution to the Institute growth.
What is the secret about it? The family members are confident that the key is to be dedicated and fully devoted to what you are doing. Even a family celebration can turn into an operational meeting for a while, as all the family members are willing to keep the conversation.
According to the Lisyanskiys, the team they spend the most of their lives is what they treat as the best in their work. And the dynasty is lucky like no other as their team is not only the best, but it is native, it is them.
