Developing Technological Self-sufficiency
GIAP took part in an industry-specific international exhibition KHIMIA-2024, which concentrated this year on equipment and engineering among other topics.
For 4 days the visitors got to know unique and energy efficient technologies of GIAP and went into detail of company’s successful case studies of nitrogen industry projects.
Intensive business schedule of activities allowed the participants to discuss numerous topics of the day. On the first day after Official opening ceremony Deputy General Director of GIAP Mr.Oleg Kostin took part in plenary session devoted to provision of technological leadership “New materials and chemistry” and afterwards became a moderator of fresh graduates and students’ group of foresight-session “Chemistry of the future”. The groups had a brainstorm discussion of the chemical industry development strategy till 2050 and searched for the ways how to increase the RF citizens’ involvement into technological advancement of high-tech industries.
A number of negotiations took place during the exhibition. GIAP top management headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr.Viktor Polozov and General Director Mr.Artem Starovoytov held meetings with permanent and potential customers focusing on joint projects realization. Successful and fruitful business negotiations were also held with equipment vendors from India and China.
This year KHIMIA-2024 was held at EXPOCENTRE on October 21 - 24. The overall exhibition area exceeded 20 thousand sq.meters, hosting more than 500 companies introducing their products and services from such countries as the Republic of Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
