Contributing to Construction of Polycarbonates Plant
GIAP received an appreciation letter from JSC Gazproektinzhiniring for qualitative and professional performance of R&D support of engineering surveys and engineering activities of capital construction facilities of “Polycarbonates Plant”.
GIAP specialists studied the results of Client’s engineering surveys, thoroughly analyzed structural models of buildings and structures and made an alternative calculation for the main and special loads combinations to prove the design solutions.
In the course of analysis, it was assumed that the structural model shall be comprehensive and shall reflect real operation conditions of all the system elements.
GIAP specialists paid special attention to checking of the compliance of developed solutions with the effective regulations and prepared a program of geotechnical monitoring of the facility under construction. Prompt and qualified support of GIAP specialists became a key factor in getting the Main State Expertise’s approval.
Client’s representatives acknowledged significant experience of GIAP staff in the sphere of R&D support and thanked partners for prudent and diligent approach, as well as for knowledge of supervising authorities’ actual requirements for the content and scope of works.
At present GIAP specialists are also involved into another 4 R&D support projects which enable not only to monitor the quality of surveys and engineering but also ensure reliability and safety during construction and further operation of buildings and structures of industrial facilities.
