At the end of June, works on the Construction of Ammonium Nitrate Granulation and 2nd stage Evaporation Plant with a capacity of 2300 tpd at PJSC Kuibyshevazot industrial site began. The works are carried out under the EPC-contract concluded between PJSC Kuibyshevazot and JSC GIAP in November 2018.
“On June 27, we started foundation works for production facilities. All works on the Project are carried out in accordance with the approved schedule”, – commented Dmitry Bereslavsky, head of the EPC-division of JSC GIAP.
Apart from construction works, in accordance with the Сontract, JSC GIAP carries out works on designing, complete supply of equipment, commissioning of the Plant and also acts as a Licensor of ammonium nitrate granulation process.
Start-up of the Plant will allow PJSC Kuibyshevazot to stop using the outdated equipment, increase energy efficiency and improve plant environmental performance. The completion of construction is scheduled for November 2020, and start-up and commissioning are scheduled for December 2020.
