GIAP will establish a Research and Educational Centre in Kaliningrad

GIAP has united the efforts with higher educational institutions and regional government to create a bridge between education and professional occupation.

On September 29 a leading Russian engineering company and technologies developer in gas&chemistry sector - JSC GIAP, in coordination with the Government of Kaliningrad region, signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Kaliningrad State Technical University on the sidelines of the Baltic Maritime Forum.

On September 30 an agreement between JSC GIAP and Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University was signed.

The key result of the partnership will be establishment of an advanced Research and Educational Centre (REC) in Kaliningrad. Center will be working within the frame of national project “Science and Universities” and will unite the efforts of the business, universities and R&D institutes.

The main activities of the Research and Educational Centre will be to provide GIAP with qualified specialists, to develop joint research studies in nitrogen industry and to carry out dedicated training of manpower for further employment.

Collaboration with Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University implies usage of up-to-date methods and software of GIAP in educational processes, carrying out of joint scientific events. Partnership will enable to establish a system of graduates targeted employment and to arrange internship and practical training for students at GIAP.
