The company management and key specialists presented efficient and energy-saving technologies by JSC GIAP in the framework of the Russian Technologies and Engineering in Nitrogen Industry conference involving the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Federal Service for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision that was held November 9-10 in Moscow’s President Hotel.
For two days, the conference attendees discussed the industry-specific crucial issues, and ammonia, urea, ammonium nitrate and UAN, acetic acid and acetylene technologies proposed by GIAP. Special emphasis was placed on GIAP’s competences in brownfield and green field ammonia projects. In addition, consideration was given to the GIAP’s capabilities in building UKL-7 nitric acid plants and revamping AK-72 unit with expansion to more than 60 tph, as well as in constructing ammonia nitrate and urea plants.
“For more than 90 years, GIAP has been providing the chemical industry with unique technologies that help expand their plant capacities while reducing harmful emissions to the environment. Since then, our company’s technologies were used to build 19 nitrogen industry plants in Russia and 18 plants all over the world. Today, we keep on developing new technologies, refining our competences and furnishing assistance to Russia-based companies”, noted Egor Krivchun, JSC GIAP’s General Director.
