GIAP Group representatives attended the VIII Annual International BIM Forum.
The event has become one of the key professional events in the field of digital construction and provided industry experts with an opportunity to learn about current operational experience in the digital technologies application at all stages of the capital construction facilities' life cycle.
During the business part of the event, experts discussed the specifics of engineering data management systems, common data environments, as well as analyzed the development of the Russian software market and modern software for the development of digital twins. The rich program allowed for a detailed presentation of many trends in digitalisation, including the application of artificial intelligence and robotics, systemic issues and machine-readable standards errors, etc.
Various formats of interaction between the participants facilitated business negotiations. For example, GIAP Group representatives talked to software developers and suppliers, discussing further co-operation and direct interaction for project implementation.
GIAP Group professionals emphasized the topic of digital twins of real production facilities and integration with estimate documentation. At the forum they drilled down the operational experience in obtaining estimate documentation based on 3D-model.
Over 1.5 thousand dedicated experts from 850 companies and 80 cities of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey and the UAE participated in the VIII Annual International BIM Forum.
