Ammonium Nitrate in Nevinnomyssk: documentation is approved
JSC GIAP has obtained approval of the State Ecological Expertize for the facility "Construction of the new granulation unit in Ammonium Nitrate Workshop No. 3-А with the capacity of 2 700 TPD" at JSC Nevinnomyssky Azot.
The project work was started on June 1st, 2022 and lasted 19 months.
The main purpose was to replace obsolete and worn-out equipment of the existing production plant, to increase end product output to 2 700 TPD, as well as to create a modern eco-friendly production plant on the basis of the best available technologies.
“Obtaining of the State Ecological Expertize approval is a critical and significant event both for JSC GIAP and for the whole chemical industry of the country, since in Russia there are no plants having such capacity. During the work, our team considered all peculiarities of the Client’s facility, participated in weekly meetings and Value Engineering sessions”, - said Egor Krivchun, General Director of JSC GIAP.
