Ammonia and methanol are our future
GIAP’s representatives took part in International Forum “Ammonia and Methanol PRO” held the 27-28th of March in Kazan.
The event was dedicated to gas and chemical market analysis, as well as studies of various natural gas treatment and conversion technologies to produce more valuable chemical products.
During the two days, experts were presented with the latest trends in natural gas monetization, opportunities for specialty, mid-scale and large-scale chemical production and plunged in detail into import substitution of static and dynamic equipment.
Speakers discussed separately the best practices of efficient plant operation and project implementation amid current conditions.
Engineering of new ammonia and methanol plants and revamping of the existing ones have been the GIAP’s traditional areas of business for more than 90 years. The company has its own proprietary technologies of methanol production up to 1000 ktpа, as well as engineering solutions and equipment designs for efficient process implementation. Using GIAP’s ammonia technologies helps ramp up capacities of large units up to 2100 tpd through revamping or build a new unit capable of producing up to 3000 tpd.
The Forum “Ammonia and Methanol PRO” was attended by more than 90 large industrial producers, engineering companies, equipment and catalyst vendors. Experiences and latest developments were shared by the experts from JSC OCC Shchekinoazot, LLC NPF Entekhmash, JSC Uralkhimmash, JSC Ammonia, EuroChem, PJSC Akron, PJSC Togliattiazot, and others.
